The former Dutch star, who notably played for Ajax in the year (1992-1997), Barcelona (1997-2000), and Arsenal (2000-2004), had already suffered a heart attack in the month of December 2022. “My energy is completely depleted now: if I don’t listen to my body now, my doctors predict that the risk of an adverse outcome is very high ,” which he added. “I must therefore make a drastic decision and completely stop my professional activities by coming months.”
