Kylian Mbappé’s return to training with his Real Madrid club on Monday (a day earlier than scheduled) did little to quell the climate of distrust surrounding him. On the contrary, criticism and discontent have intensified in recent days. Last week, his outing to a nightclub in Paris and then his cycling trip in Switzerland, which the 27-year-old Frenchman attacking player himself shared on the social media, were perceived by a large portion of Madrid fans and the Spanish media as a lack of professionalism, especially given that he was supposed to be resting after his knee injury sustained while on international duty with France team.
