Rudy Matondo extends his contract with Paris FC until 2030
Paris FC’s Rudy Matondo the young (18 years old) midfielder signed a contract extension on Thursday. He is now tied to the Parisian club until 2030 season.
It had been planned since he arrived at Paris FC club in January 2026. A minor at the time, Rudy Matondo couldn’t sign a contract beyond 2028, less than three years as stipulated in the regulations. But it was understood that the player, was bought for €17 million from AJ Auxerre, would, once he turned 18, be tied to the club, majority-owned by the Arnault family, for a long-term contract. This Thursday, he therefore signed a contract extension to his career until 2030.
Rudy Matondo is therefore a key element of the Paris FC club project. Upon his arrival, he made an immediate impact, played 11 Ligue 1 matches, including 8 starts under the Antoine Kombouaré. On May 3rd, he scored a splendid brace against Brest with (4-0), becoming at 18 years old the youngest player to score twice in Paris FC’s Ligue 1 history.
