Caliste, the little prince of Karmine Corp

Arriving midway through the year 2023 season, when KC was still playing in the French league (LFL), Caliste quickly won over the supporters . Then just 16 years old, the young player from the Hérault region made a sensational debut in the league. He led his team to win in the French championship league on his first attempt. A few weeks later, he competed in his first EMEA Masters, a regional competition between the best teams from each national league. And he also won it, at home in Montpellier, in front of his supporters. In the following months, Karmine Corp took a significant step forward, joining the European League competitions (LEC), the league that opens the door to qualification for international events and to Kamel “Kameto” Kebir’s dream: to play in, and above all, win the World Championship competition.

Still a minor, Caliste bided his time for a year, remaining in the LFL with KC’s new academy team. But in the year 2025, his time had come: Caliste joined the LEC and immediately lived up to the team expectations of the highest level. As he had done in the LFL and at the EMEA Masters, Caliste won his first LEC split. This allowed KC to compete in its first-ever global tournament game, First Stand in 2025, and led his team to the finals, the first international final for teams from the region since the year 2019. Named Rookie of the Year at the end of the season, Caliste recently extended his contract with his club until 2028, despite interest from their arch-rival and the greatest European team in history, G2 Esports.
