Félix Auger-Aliassime has returns to his native Quebec as a local hero to represent Canada against France in the Davis Cup game on (Friday and Saturday). He will be joined by his father, Sam, who coached him here in his early years time.
Since he left for the National Tennis Centre in Montreal at the age of 14 years, Félix Auger-Aliassime had never returned to play at the Tennis Avantage academy in Quebec City, which is located on Highway 40, which connects Montreal to Quebec City along the north shore of the St. Lawrence River city. It was there that he took his first steps with his father, Sam, a tennis instructor, before purchasing the five-court indoor complex in the year 2010. It was here that the local boy brought the Canadian team to train for a few days before heading to the Videotron Centre, which will host the Davis Cup tie against France on (Friday and Saturday), a tie that hasn’t been held in Quebec since 1975.
