Belgium has qualifies for the quarter-finals of the European Championship competition
Belgium nation team has qualified for the Euro quarter-finals on Monday in Turin, after dominating the Czech Republic with (3-1) win, who had been semi-finalists at the World Cup last year.
A semi-finalist in the European Championship in year 2017, but far from the top spots since then (elimination in the round of 16 in 2019 game and 2023 also in the group stage in 2021), the Belgian team is reconnecting with they former glory. On Monday in Turin, Italy, they qualified for the quarter-finals after lose the Czech Republic nation team, who collapsed at the end of the match, in four sets (20-25, 26-24, 25-14, 25-15).
To secure the victory, the Belgian team relied on Ferre Reggers with (24 points), the opposite hitter for Perugia (Italy), and Sam Deroo with (17 points), who plays for Halkbank Ankara in the Turkey. Belgium will learn its quarter-final opponent team this evening after the final Round of 16 match between Slovenia and Serbia by 9 p.m
